Advanced Thyroid Cancer

Causes of Advanced Thyroid Cancer

As with most cancers, doctors can’t tell you with certainty what caused your thyroid cancer. It’s a combination of genetic predisposition and factors in your environment. Radiation exposure from prior medical treatments or natural disasters could increase your risk of developing thyroid cancer as well.
